Kollengode is a small town in Palakkad District of Kerala state, India.Kollengode, the erstwhile capital of Kollengode Rajas. The name was derived after ‘Kollen' (black smith community), who resides here.

The Nelliampathy Hills (situated as a fort on one side) and a large area of fertile paddy fields (on the other side) makes Kollengode a favorite tourist destination. Gayathri River, a tributary of Bharathapuzha, passes through this town.
Places of tourist interest are the Kollengode Palace, built in the traditional architectural style, and a shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Seethakundu and Govindamalai near Kachankurichi are very popular among the trekkers and adventurous picnickers.

Nearest railway station : Palakkad, about 19 km from Kollengode.

Nearest airport : Coimbatore, about 55 km from Palakkad town.
