Palaruvi is located 75 km away from Kollam and is a popular tourist destination in Kerala that attracts visitors from all over. Blessed by nature with its bountiful best, Palaruvi is indeed a treat to the eyes and soul.

Palaruvi - literally, stream of milk - is one of Kerala's most picturesque waterfalls, cascading down a height of 300 feet. It is a favourite picnic spot for visitors from all over south India. The journey to Palaruvi through the dense tropical forest is a spellbinding experience.

The water of Palaruvi is believed to possess medicinal properties. Ayurvedic physicians sometimes prescribe a bath in Palaruvi. The cool shower is quite a refreshing one
