Rooms here at Tranquil take the names of spice varieties like Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon etc. They are all well furnished with original woodwork, tiled floors, comfortable twin beds, and spacious modern bathrooms.

At Tranquil one may indulge in the daily business of Coffee production or take a tour through the Vanilla bean plantation and know more about this most sought after commodity in the world market. Imbibing the cultural and traditional elements of Kerala, Tranquil has for its visitors a sparkling pool, a tree house, hammocks, swing chairs, games room, and Ayurvedic massage.

Food at Tranquil too assumes significance just like its unique ambiance. The hosts, the Deys see to it that their guests are provided homemade, delicious food varieties with lots of specialities exclusive to Tranquil. Besides breakfast, lunch and dinner, if one is interested to go for an afternoon hike to the mountain viewpoint, tea and snacks will be served at the top.

In the estate, one can go for bird watching or may go for invigorating walks titled The Teaser, Indiana Jones, Braveheart etc. Some of these walks would lead you to a viewpoint rock situated at a height of about 3000 ft above sea level, from where the panoramic view of the mist laden plains below will take your breath away.

Adjoining attractions include the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, which is just an hour's drive from Tranquil, where one can witness wildlife in abundance from the safety of a jeep. Also, one may go trekking to the historic Edakal Caves and explore the engravings there dating back to the Stone Age. For those with an inclination for adventure, climb up the Kuppamudi peak to enjoy an exhilarating view of the surroundings.
