Tanur is in Malappuram, Kerala. It is one of the oldest Portugese settlements which was visited by St Francis Xavier in 1546 A.D. The Kerala deshpuram Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and believed to be one of the oldest temples in Kerala, is 3 km south of Tanur town

Tanur beach is a marvelous place to roam about as it gives you immense exposure to the nature. If you are a nature lover, this Tanur beach is made for you where you can relax under the cool shades of the palm trees, or you can stroll for hours amidst sun, sand and sea.
